You are an Inventor, possible professions include - systems designer, venture capitalist, actor, journalist, investment broker, real estate agent, real estate developer, strategic planner, political manager, politician, special projects developer, literary agent, restaurant/bar owner, technical trainer, diversity manager, art director, personnel systems developer, computer analyst, logistics consultant, outplacement consultant, advertising creative director, radio/TV talk show host.
I have taken this interesting career test, (check it out). I was struck on how accurate it rated my current emotional status, or "stability"as it states. I'm currently a total mess, with a disastrous emotional condition due to my shitty work standing. I'm bummed out, frustrated & mad. I feel like hurricane Katrina has washed over me. A humongous wave of misery & negativity. Its one thing to hold on to a workaholic environment that cuts you off of any social life whatsoever, but its' a totally different case when you feel manipulated & treated unfairly. Being who I am.. I cant ever stand that. Every day I spend at work seems like committing slow suicide, increasing my memory loss and lack whatever creativity I strive on. I'm screaming to get out. Any way, I won't keep fussing about work till I actually do quit & then talk about all the good stuff of the resigning aftermath,(Hopefully soooon)... Yeah.
Regarding the results.. I do see myself as an inventor.. I always tend to come up with ideas, but about all the jobs mentioned.... hmmm... The ones I mostly see myself in are:
journalist, strategic planner, political manager, special project developer, restaurant owner, logistics consultant, & advertising creative director <<< (I presume that l would probably need a couple of years to get back in touch with my creativity for that!).
Check out the test it's cool, not so boring. There are also other types such as which famous leader your personality fits. I got to fit JFK! Cool huh? Ha!
Its really great to get to know yourself. I have checked a book out of our Human Resources library called
Do What You Are: Discover the Perfect Career for You Through the Secrets of Personality Type . The edition I read was the second, featuring careers for the 90's. I came out as an ENTP. I haven't read every single chapter, only what I needed to find out. What really caught my attention, in addition to the true personal cases the book identified as examples, is the fact that most of the careers recommended matched the ones which resulted and presented in the beginning of my post. I intend to purchase the updated and revised edition, which I linked, & find out more.
If you're currently thinking of switching jobs or careers, I would recommend that you reflect on your values, analyze your current position get to know yourself & needs before taking a further step forward.
